The Office of Formation in Discipleship recognizes the unique gifts of the young church. We believe the youth are not simply the church of tomorrow; they are the church of today. In his Apostolic Exhortation, Christus Vivit, Pope Francis reminds us that our youth are “the now of God, and (God) wants (our youth) to bear fruit.” (178)

Our desire is that through prayer, and Spirit-led catechesis and programming, our youth and their parents and parish leaders will encounter Jesus, follow Him, and share His love with the community and the world, remembering that “the Lord seeks all… (and) he invites us to be fearless missionaries wherever we are and in whatever company we find ourselves.”
