Cathedral Liturgy Coordinator and Cathedral School Music Teacher (1.0 FTE)-Crookston, MN
This position can be a full time position as a liturgist and music teacher or a part time school teacher position.
Qualifications:
-Proficiency at organ and piano
-Knowledge of Catholic liturgical principles
-Experience in the primary level classroom (A Minnesota teaching license is preferred, but not required)
Liturgy Coordinator (70%)
-Plan music for liturgies of obligation and other special days
-Instrumentalist three weekends a month
-Schedule song leaders and choir
-Rehearse song leaders and choir
-Collaborate with diocesan liturgical events
-Create and lead Worship Committee
-art and environment
-liturgical ministry training and mentorship
-Develop junior musician mentorship
-Funerals
-meet with families to plan funerals
-play for funerals (extra stipend) or schedule instrumentalist

Cathedral School Music Teacher (30%)- Mid August- May

-Play piano for weekly school Mass and direct students

Overview
We are seeking a mission driven, faith filled leader to serve as our Adult & Family Ministry Coordinator and Safe Environment Coordinator. This full time role accompanies adults and families in their growth in faith while ensuring diocesan Safe Environment compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead adult faith formation: Bible studies, small groups, RCIA/OCIA support, retreats, and parish missions.
• Coordinate Family Faith Formation and support parents as primary educators of the faith.
• Build welcoming, evangelizing parish environments and engage inactive parishioners.
• Organize family events, service projects, and community building opportunities.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers and ministry leaders.
• Oversee all Safe Environment training, background checks, and diocesan reporting for employees and volunteers.
Qualifications
• Practicing Catholic in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Catechetics, Pastoral Ministry, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in parish ministry, catechesis, or evangelization.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relational skills.
Work Expectations
• Flexible schedule with evenings and weekends.
• Active participation in the sacramental life of the Church.
• Compliance with diocesan Safe Environment and Code of Conduct policies.
Compensation

Cathedral School is hiring a full time kindergarten/physical education teacher. This position is split between:
- Kindergarten Instruction: Focus on foundational skills in reading, ELA, and math. This would also include morning meeting and classroom prayer.
- Physical Education:Teach engaging and developmentally appropriate gym classes for students in PreK through Grade 5.

This is a full-time, benefited position, including health and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, 403(b), FSA, and HSA, with a salary dependent on experience starting at $40,000.
