Esto Vir! is a vocation camp for young men entering their sophomore year of high school through young adulthood.  This camp is an opportunity for those men who may be open to the priesthood to come together and spend some days in community with each other and the seminarians of the diocese. The camp includes games, Mass, prayer, food, and fellowship.

Come Away, My Beloved: Women's Semi-Silent Retreat

 Our hearts are made for love and to give love. Yet, in our often complicated and busy lives this love can be hard to give or hard to receive, especially with an invisible God whose ways are not like our ways.  Come away, my beloved is a retreat to give your heart a chance to rest and encounter the one love that is above all others: the faithful love of God for each of his chosen people.
 
The retreat will begin with a shared meal with conversation so you can meet the women with whom you will be praying. Silence begins after supper until breakfast on Sunday. 
 
Mass, Holy Hours, Confession, Spiritual Direction, and free time will be available.

Women's Cursillo

Cursillo (pronounced KER SEE O) is an abbreviation of the full title: CURSlLLO DE CRISTIANDAD which means "A Short Course in Christian Community Living." The weekend is a three-day learning, sharing, inspirational experience of living in a Christian community. During the three days of a Cursillo weekend a person not only hears inspiring talks on what it really means to be a Christian, but actually experiences the joy of building and being part of a genuine Christian community.

Till Death Do Us Part

A retreat designed specifically for widows or widowers who are on the journey of life after the death of a beloved spouse. We will search to see how God blesses and is active in our lives: in the past, in our new self, our family, our friends and the future. We will explore the changes in our pattern of life and how we cope with the world in a new “normal”. Together we will search for meaning in the question: How can our relationship with Jesus bring us fulfillment, peace, and joy?

Lead by Fr Chuck Huck, he is a widower of 25 years. Married to Valerie for 25 years, they raised 7 children and today have 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Valerie died of ovarian cancer in November of 2000 at the age of 44. Fr Chuck was ordained to the priesthood in December of 2006

Starting on Monday Oct 5  at 6pm and ending Wednesday Oct 7th at noon. Participants will be asked to bring a picture of their spouse, family and their memories (good & difficult) they would be willing to share.
