Confirmation

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is an invitation to prayerfully discern one's readiness to more fully embrace the gifts and mission of the Holy Spirit. Rather than being tied to a specific grade level, Confirmation preparation begins when a young person, together with their parents, faith mentors, and pastor, discerns they are ready to take this next step in their journey of discipleship. This preparation includes intentional formation, prayer, a retreat experience, and conversations with a Confirmation sponsor, all designed to deepen the candidate's relationship with Jesus Christ and strengthen their commitment to live as His witness in the Church and the world.
