Prayer

1. For a renewed spirit of evangelization in our parish(es)… that the Spirit will help us to see and proclaim to all the marvelous works of God… we pray to the Lord.

2. For the grace to understand and love more deeply the words of Christ and the Scriptures, We pray to the Lord

3. That our parish, may grow in holiness and in our dedication to evangelization, We pray to Lord.

4. For our parish community: may our prayer, fasting and almsgiving be a strong witness to those around us... we pray to the Lord

5. That our observance of Lent might open our eyes to the love and mercy of God and open our hearts to the importance of our role of protectors of God's handwork, creation.  we pray to the Lord

6. For all who are alienated from Church life: may they find in this community a place of welcome and reconciliation... we pray to the Lord...

7. For Christians who doubt and who have lost faith, that they may believe, and for those who passionately search for truth, that they may be illuminated by the risen Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved, let us pray to the Lord.

8. For our community, that with great confidence and courage, we may give witness to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we pray to the Lord.

9. That our parish community will be passionate in carrying out works of mercy which draw many into the light of God. We pray to the Lord

10. That our parish will grow in holiness so that we will always love one another with perfect charity, we pray to the Lord

11. That as Jesus laid down His life for us, so we may find strength to sacrifice ourselves for others, especially the poor, the weak, the unborn, and the unwanted, we pray to the Lord...

12. That as disciples of Jesus Christ we accept our mission to share the love and mercy of Jesus with everyone we meet…We pray to the Lord

13. That we all accept the call to be missionary disciples of Jesus Christ who go forth into our community and lives sharing the Good News of the Lord. We pray to the Lord

14. For those who have grown lukewarm in their faith: that the Holy Spirit will drive out the unawareness of the poor and rekindle the desire for heaven. We pray to the Lord.

15. For those who live without faith: that the love of the Blessed Trinity will awaken their minds and give hope to their hearts. We pray to the Lord

16. That Christian husband and wives will collaborate with all people of God to strengthen the body of Christ. We pray to the Lord

17. That God will strengthen and persevere our parish in his holy service. We pray to the Lord

18. That through the Church’s faithful announcement of the Gospel, God’s word may increase love and give full meaning to pain and suffering. We pray to the Lord

19. That God’s love will strengthen individuals and communities to know their importance and the power of their working together to care for our Common Home, We pray to the Lord.

20. That we will all see God’s presence in the temple of creation, in ourselves and in others as surely as we believe in Christ’s presence in the Eucharist, and will revere God’s presence there, we pray to the Lord …

21. That all those willing, to encounter, accompany, and invite people to the Body of Christ. May they do so as a witness to Jesus Christ fearlessly and without compromise.  

22. For the grace this week to live out our baptismal call as missionary disciples attentive to the Gospel and receptive to God’s grace.

• Spend a couple of minutes with opening prayer and Psalms (slowly reading meditatively)
• Watch video link that is found in each session of the Bible study if able to.
• Read bible passage aloud
• Read reflection comments and questions
• Re-read scripture passage silently
• Apply call to action Idea’s (think of someone to share your experience with)
• Pray closing prayer

• Gather and welcome participants, begin with the Opening Prayer and Opening Psalm included in the Bible study (3-5 minutes)
• Watch video link
• Choose someone to read the Bible passage aloud
• Read aloud the reflection for the reading. You could have different people each read one paragraph
• Pause for silent prayer
• Re-read Scripture passage aloud by another volunteer (followed by quiet time)
• Discuss the scripture passage using the reflection questions as a guide. (30 minutes)
• Review call to action idea’s
• Pray closing Prayer together

• 
  Involve each member to participate (on their own device if convenient)
• Watch video together from one device (on YouTube from smart TV)
• Light a candle and create a quiet comfortable environment (free of distractions)
• Assign someone to read aloud bible passage
• Take turns reading Reflection comments and reflection questions aloud

• Share insight and thoughts openly (show respect and confidence to one another)
